Los Angeles start-up
eJamming ended this afternoon presentations session. Their software for PC and Mac enables musicians and singers to virtually get together and start a Jam... all synchronously. "Synchronicity is the difficult part inspite of the distance between the musicians and the network jitter", says Gail Kantor, CEO of eJamming (right on the picture with co-founder Alan Jay Glueckman). To start a peer-to-peer jamming session, simply find other musicians on eJamming's web site, create a band by inviting or subscribing to someone, start "jamming" and even record your first high-quality CD! The latest version of the service available starting March will mix both voice and MIDI instruments.
