[Autodesk] Digital Prototypes save 1/2 the time and money

Story posted on: February 12, 2007

Everybody involved in designing and creating products know that building prototypes is costly and time consuming. To that point, vice-president "Buzz" Kross, citing an Autodesk sponsored report, stressed the need to move "beyond geometry" and into digital prototyping and simulation to:
cut in half the number of physical prototypes needed before building a full-scale mockup or the actual building

and
get products to market 58% faster
