[Churchill Club] From a power exec to an entrepreneur: how CoreFino started in her attic!

Story posted on: June 14, 2007

Karen Northup reached the "top of her career" at age 26 after being CFOs at companies like Scout Media, Equitex, Telesuite, Rivals.com and Telocity (now directv). The big question after that is what to do next? Start a new venture, for sure. But how? She decided to build a house first and take the time to think about it. That's how she came out in 2002 with the concept of CoreFino, an outsourced finance and accounting services firm for start-ups.
