GoTV aims to be the HBO of mobile TV (video)

Story posted on: June 27, 2007

So GoTV Networks believes the cell phone will be the next mega TV marker. The mobile TV provider creates and distributes video content on-demand television programming customised for the cell phone experience, across carriers like AT&T, Sprint Nextel, BoostMobile (who?), Helio, Alltel and Verizon. GoTV also claims to work on 85% of handsets today... hard to verify that though.
"We offer premium subscription channels in areas like music, sports, comedy and entertainment in which subscribers pay between 5-6$/month", said Daniel Tibbets, GoTV' Studio Chief at a recent Churchill Club event on mobile TV.
