I thought I'll squash a rumour once and for all about Eric Schmidt, Google's CEO, not having an iPhone. He actually does have one that he showed me during Apple developer's conference last week in San Francisco. The phone is currently "locked" to work only on AT&T/Cingular's wireless network but does work in other places in the world using "network roaming". My guess, is that Apple built several hundred iPhones to test the product... and a large portion of these happy owners are actually roaming in Silicon Valley ;-)
