Newly appointed 60Frames Entertainment CEO, Brent Weinstein, was present today at iHollywwod Forum's VCDemo event in Mountain View. 60Frames Entertainment is a new company that provides financing to professional artists to produce initially short-form comedies on the Web. The company then will expand to include dramatic, informative, educational and other types of online video... 60Frames plans to distribute its content through top video portals like YouTube or Yahoo Video, social network websites such as MySpace, mobile. etc... and share the revenues (ad, rent, sale...) with the artists. The name "60Frames" originates from the different frame rates used in digital video and represents the company's goal to deliver high-quality, short-form content to consumers through digital platforms.
