[Humour] Apple to launch 6th generation iPods with 160GB Samsung drive
Story posted on: August 30, 2007

It's official now. Apple will be launching new iPods next Wednesday and we'll be at the Moscone West in San Francisco at 10AM sharp to report it on.
My guesstimate is that the 6th generation full-sized iPods will finally integrate bluetooth for wirelessly syncing content and listening to it (Apple is selling a nice bluetooth headset with the iPhone), have a larger screen a-la iPhone (again!) and for sure a larger hard-drive, possibly the Samsung's 1.8 inch 160 GB one vs the current 80GB. We'll also see a 16 GB iPod nano, in the same vein as Creative Labs' Zen V Plus. For the rest i.e. MacOS X iPods, Wi-Fi or even an iCar... I dont think so. Although, it'd buy in a heartbeat an in-car device integrating a bluetooth-enabled GPS navigation system, an iPod and... a radar detector ;-)
