Story posted on: October 15, 2007

- Tuesday: The Internet service provider's ISPCon conference starts at the San Jose convention centre. There you'll be hearing about hosting, pipes/bandwidth, billing, wimax, firewalls, etc.
- Wednesday: The Web 2.0 crowd is meeting at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco for 3 days of "executive" sessions. Among the who's who present at the show are Robert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp; Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft; Bruce Chizen, CEO of Adobe; Meg Whitman, CEO of eBay, etc... We'll also be attending a briefing by HP's enterprise group on security and a Sun's presentation on Java clients.
- Friday: An HP day! First we'll meet with HP's VP of Social & Environmental Responsibility to talk about the company's efforts in working with suppliers to ensure environmental standards are enforced around the world. Then, we'll have some fun with Finnegan Kelly, the co-founder of The Go Game using HP's mscape interactive software platform. Believe it or not, this is part of the Connecting '07 industrial design conference also taking place in San Francisco.
