So here were are again: the "official" start of the holiday season! It begins with Halloween, then moves along to Thanksgiving, with the inevitable "Black Friday", to finally end on Christmas/New Year. Of course, you have people like me who will actually start their holiday shopping after all this craze, early in January looking for the best deals! Anyway, this week, no conferences but great meetings instead:
- Monday: We'll be meeting with Joe Siino, Yahoo's VP of Intellectual Property to talk about the Internet company's strategy to protect it's IP;
- Tuesday: Time to head to San Francisco. First to meet with the CEO of online speed dating company WooMe and then to sister site Ubergizmo's annual Uber10 party with its list of 10 Gadgets You Can Actually Afford!
- Wednesday: HP is getting ready to release its MediaSmart Home Media Server this holiday season and we will be talking to senior product manager Allen Buckner for the latest updates on the product;
- Thursday: This time, we'll be heading down to San Jose, to meet with Sandio Technology CEO, James Hsieh, to talk about their latest 3D mouse and their perspective on the future of 3D browsing (Internet, games...).
