Yada Is Winplus Brand For The Consumer Electronics Market (video)

Story posted on: October 25, 2007

Winplus is better known in the automotive industry for it's low tech car accessories like windshield sun protectors, interior covers (seats, mats, steering wheel), or miscellaneous accessories like ash trays, compasses, air freshners and mirrors! All that you can find at Costco or Walmart. Well, after 7 years of existence, founder and CEO Dan Sheehan (pictured) decided it was time to go high-tech. So Sheehan launched at the CTIA show a new brand, Yada, of simple and affordable bluetooth hands-free accessories.

The first product is a universal phone holder combined with a bluetooth headset, available at Amazon for $60. Sheehan's idea is to leverage Winplus' numerous retail locations to sell the Yada branded products. At CES, the company plans to unveil 10 to 15 new products, including bluetooth hands-free devices that you clip on your visor, more versions of the phone holder, in-home charging solutions, etc.
