Intel To Launch 25 Watts Penryn For 1" Ultra Thin Laptops (video)

During his comments at yesterday's Penryn launch, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Intel's Mobility Group, David Perlmutter, mentioned the upcoming 25 watts mobile Penryn chip targeting the 1 inch thick and below, mobile computers as well as a 75 watts server version, which is about 20 watts lower than the lowest server chip today.
I wonder if this 25 watts chip will also be competitive speed-wise. If it is, I already can see a Macbook mini under the X-mas tree next year!
Also according to Perlmutter, the latest Penryn chips are 40% faster than the previous 65-nm Core 2 generation for the same power envelope. The Intel exec highlighted as well some architecture enhancements like the 67 new SSE4 instructions (targeted to video processes), the new virtual mode that could speed virtualisation by a whopping 75%, a faster divider (is that really important? :-), a better cache management to reduce power consumption and a high performance JEDEC memory interface.
