This morning I'm attending Joint Venture's State of the Valley annual “town meeting” in downtown San Jose.

I'll be attending most of the session and particularly the Silicon Valley Index, a good indicator of Silicon Valley's economy strength and the health of our community. There's also an interesting talk by Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chair, Sheila C. Bair, on the sub-prime mortgage crisis and finally a panel on the electric car industry.
