HP, Intel Open Labs, To Unveil What's Next?

Story posted on: March 01, 2008

Next Thursday is going to be Tech's Super Thursday!

In the morning, Steve Jobs will be unveiling news around the Apple iPhone, its SDK and some enterprise features. And just after lunch, it'll be HP's CEO Mark Hurd turn, followed by HP's CTO, CMO and Lab director to talk about "What's Next" at HP.

And actually, at the same time, Intel will also be hosting its Berkeley Research lab annual "open house" with Intel Research vice president Andrew Chien.
"There will be about 30 projects, covering topics such as a new community sensing project, green networks, and reconfigurable wifi antennas. There is a security project on end-hosts can protect themselves against “botnets” and some more social projects like “mashmaker” for creating your own personal internet mashups", the Intel statement said.
