Jawbone Brings Fashion in Bluetooth Headset (video)

Story posted on: May 15, 2008

I was last night at Aliph/Jawbone's party in San Francisco, for the launch of the company's latest generation bluetooth headset. For the celebration at the "I-wish-they-had-AC" Varnish Gallery Aliph's PR firm, Outcast, managed to attract the stars of the local media from the Wall Street Journal to BusinessWeek to Reuters, PCWorld, VentureBeat, me and more! Check out one of the Qik video here.

There, I also caught up with Yves Behar, the Swiss designer behind the Jawbone but also the One Laptop per Child, Y Water or the Leaf Personal Light for Herman Miller. Check out the video interview I did, in French, with Yves after the jump. According to Behar, the first bluetooth Jawbone became the best seller in retail in the U.S. The second generation is 50% smaller and is using new materials like leather to become more of a "lifestyle" object.
