Palo Alto PR firm Voce Communications threw a party last night to celebrate its 9th year anniversary. For the last time, it was hosted at the Cafe Rosso & Bianco (formerly the Niebaum-Coppola bistro) on University Avenue. For the 10th, co-founder Matt Podboy and crew will be heading to San Francisco. Not a bad idea as Rosso & Bianco is closing for good in August :-)
Anyway, a nice crowd of party "regulars" like me (sic!)... among them I saw Tony Perkins (top left) of AlwaysOn Network, Demo producer Chris Shipley (top right), Tom Foremski of Silicon Valley Watcher or the unavoidable Gabe Rivera of TechMeme!
I was also glad to reconnect again with Eugene Lee, now CEO of Wiki provider SocialText and prior with Adobe and Cisco, where I met him first! Strangely enough I also saw a Seagate PR manager (pictured bottom left... help me find his name!). As far as I know, Silicon Valley PR firm Eastwick Communicationsis the agency of record for Seagate... But let's not start the rumour mill this time and enjoy the Summer!!!
