People are still waiting for the iPhone 3G in San Francisco... 6 Days After the Launch! (video)

Story posted on: July 16, 2008

This is just getting out of hand. Can you believe there are still people (i've counted about a 100) waiting in line for the iPhone 3G at the San Francisco Apple Store this afternoon? 6 days after the launch!!!

I just don't get it. I don't plan to have an iPhone 3G anytime soon, so perhaps I can't understand this euphoria.
First because I still have a few more months to go with my T-mobile subscription and also because of the outrageous AT&T pricing.
Anyway. After a morning spent at the Semicon show at the Moscone Centre, I was just enjoying the streets of San Francisco under this nice weather, usually not like that in the Summer months, when I saw this. Simply amazing.

Now I just hope Steve Jobs' health is improving (although I heard otherwise last night from someone who's working closely with him), so he can come back and show us again some new iPods in September :-)
